Scott Sikon has performed extensively throughout the United States, singing principal roles with many of the most notable companies including Houston Grand Opera, San Francisco Opera, the New York City Opera National Company, Cincinnati Opera, Cleveland Opera, Hawaii Opera Theater, Opera Theatre of Saint Louis, Tulsa Opera, Arizona Opera, Florentine Opera, Utah Opera and the former Opera Pacific. As a resident of Southern California, Mr. Sikon is a house favorite of San Diego Opera where he has sung more than twenty roles including Superintendent Budd in Albert Herring, Schaunard in LA Bohème, Monterone in Rigoletto, Dikoi in Kàt'a Kabanovà, Steve Hubble in A Streetcar Named Desire, Montano in Otello, Morales in Carmen, Curio in Julius Caesar in Egypt, the Second Philistine in Samson and Delilah, the First Journeyman Wozzeck, Nicholas in Vanessa, Antonio in The Marriage of Figaro, Second Armed Man in The Magic Flute, Reinmar von Zweter in Tannhäuser, Sacristan in Tosca and The Bonze in Madama Butterfly to name a few. Mr. Sikon continues his relationship with the company in future seasons bringing imagination and pitch-perfect interpretation to the characters he portrays.
